Geraldine
VENUE DIRECTOR
Geraldine oversees all aspects of the business at Farnham Castle, and is responsible for advancing the Castle’s reputation as one of the foremost, historic Wedding and Events Venues in the South of England.
Jenni
HEAD OF FINANCE
Jenni is the custodian of our business transactions. She manages all our accounting activities then makes sure the numbers add up and plans for our future.
Simon
HEAD CHEF
Simon calls our Castle Kitchen ‘home’ as he’s been working with us for over 20 years! His love of menu creation and leading his team in the kitchen is infectious. He enjoys selecting quality, seasonal produce from local suppliers, and is your go-to man for menu inspiration!
Allan
GROUNDS AND FACILITIES MANAGER
Allan’s previous work experience provides him with all the skills required to lead Farnham Castle’s Grounds & Maintenance Team. His attention to detail ensures that Farnham Castle is perfectly maintained throughout the year and for every occasion.
Julia
SENIOR WEDDING AND EVENT SPECIALIST
Julia joins Farnham Castle with strong Banqueting and Event Planning experience. Her calm approach and attention to detail ensures the level of planning required when delivering a fabulous Farnham Castle Wedding or Event.
Mallory
SENIOR WEDDING AND EVENT SPECIALIST
Mallory’s calm and measured approach will provide you with the confidence you need to enjoy every element of your Event Planning. Her Canadian background and passion for theatre means that Mallory is full of creative and dramatic ideas to make your event even more memorable.
Laura
SENIOR WEDDING AND EVENT SPECIALIST
Laura loves to be hands-on, and comes from a background where being highly organised was part of her training. She is enthusiastic for everything the Castle has to offer, and works with clients across both our Weddings and Events departments.
Heather
SENIOR WEDDING AND EVENT SPECIALIST
Heather’s passion for hospitality and history has found a home at the Castle. Having supported the weddings and events business here for over a decade, Heather’s confidence and knowledge ensure that every event she delivers is managed to impeccable standards and with great care.
Tara
SENIOR WEDDING AND EVENT SPECIALIST
Tara loves showing newly engaged couples around Farnham Castle and is full of ideas to help turn your wedding dreams in to a reality. Be sure to get your show-round appointment booked in quickly with Tara!
Piper
BANQUETING MANAGER
Piper is responsible for the operational success of our banqueting at Farnham Castle, maintaining our exceptional level of customer service, and ensuring that logistically everything runs smoothly. Her hospitality career originates from Canada, but the UK is now her home.
Chloe
BANQUETING ASSISTENT
Chloe is responsible for working alongside our team and supporting our Banqueting Manager at Farnham Castle. She is friendly and confident whether she’s preparing the venue ahead of your event, or, supervising a team on the floor.
Charlie
BAR MANAGER
We know that all of our events require a fast-paced service behind both our Gallery and Tindle Bars, and Charlie has his teams organised, looking smart, and trained to deliver, for every event we host. His calm approach and hospitality experience makes him the perfect team player for this varied and exciting role.
Sajmir
HEAD BARTENDER
Sajmir is swift behind the bar and on the event floor, whether he’s topping up your glass of wine, pouring a pint, or creating a cool cocktail. He is fun to work with, and strives to offer Farnham Castle clients outstanding service.
Josh
SOUS CHEF
Our Castle Kitchen is a lively place with Josh around. As the youngest member of the team he brings new ideas, and is enjoying getting creative with our menu development. He’s also a whizz when it comes to posting cool and creative foodie shots on social media!
Jack
SOUS CHEF
Jack joins Farnham Castle with a wealth of experience in the kitchen, and a ton of enthusiasm to join our team creating outstanding dishes for our spectacular Weddings and Events.
Paul
GARDENER & GROUNDSMAN
Paul heads up our grounds team and loves to get his hands dirty; whether he’s planting trees, sewing seeds or cultivating the Great Lawn. He always has a smile on his face and when it comes to your wedding or event photography, it’s Paul we have to thank for your gorgeous garden backdrop.
Chris
GARDENER AND GROUNDSMAN
Chris is our newest member of the team. Whether he’s planning or maintaining any area of the Castle’s Grounds, or perfecting the stripes on one of our lawns, Chris always has a smile on his face and a spring in his step. Chris also loves photography, and is often seen capturing the most incredible imagery of our venue and grounds.
Paddy
FACILITES ASSISTENT
Paddy is an energetic presence around the Castle, and a key player in our maintenance team. He can be found working anywhere and everywhere throughout our amazing historic buildings.
Jane
RECEPTION TEAM
Our Head Receptionist, Jane, works with her team to ensure the smooth running of our on-site accommodation, from bedroom booking enquiries, to your full check-in and check-out experience, and anything you may require in-between.
Sallie
BREAKFAST SUPERVISOR
Breakfast the morning after… Sallie, who is always smiling, will be in our Library to greet you. Our Castle Breakfast features our bespoke ‘Bishops Banger’, created by our chefs and our local butcher, and, whether you’re drinking a Specialty Tea, or Nespresso Coffee, your view from the Library will be spectacular in any season.
Housekeeping
Our Housekeeping Team love looking after our venue from top to bottom and are always on-hand to ensure our Castle looks pristine at all times.
Amrit
NIGHT PORTER
When your event comes to and end and your guests have drifted off to bed, our Night Porter Amrit gets to work making the Castle perfect for what lies ahead the following day.
