Wedding Ceremonies at Farnham Castle

We offer a choice of four licensed rooms and two Church of England Chapels for either marriage ceremonies or blessings within the Castle. Each has a different capacity and their own features and charm. Alternatively, why not have a celebrant ceremony somewhere within our stunning grounds?

Civil Ceremonies

There are four rooms at Farnham Castle which are licensed for Civil Wedding Ceremonies.

Lantern Hall

This is a truly stunning room with a light and spacious feel, and can seat 160 guests. Choose to walk down the aisle facing the Lancet Windows, or towards our historic Arch.

Great Hall

With our longest aisle, our impressive Great Hall is the largest of our Civil Ceremony rooms, seating up to 265 guests. A spectacular setting, and steeped in history.

Winchester Suite

The Winchester Suite, offering capacity for 130 guests, is accessed from our Great Stair and boasts beautiful views over our Rose Garden and Farnham Park.

The Library

With incredible, far-reaching views over Farnham Town and the Surrey Hills, The Library, located on our first floor, is the perfect location for an intimate wedding ceremony for up to 60 guests.

As your ceremony date will depend upon the availability of the Superintendent Registrar and Registrar, it is essential to make an advance booking. Your choice of wedding ceremony room is included in your venue hire.
