Marketing Manager – Stunning Wedding and Events Venue – Salary from £35,000 with benefits

Reporting to the General Manager.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced marketer to manage the creation and delivery of the marketing, PR and digital activity to help shape and drive our business forward. You will be developing and leading successful marketing campaigns with a strong focus on Wedding activity. This role is ideal for someone already working in a similar role but ready for a new challenge in a premium venue.

Farnham Castle:

Farnham Castle is 900 years old and is one of the most important historic buildings in Southern England. As a multi-award-winning venue for Weddings, Events and Meetings it has stunning buildings, five acres of beautiful grounds, and offers world-class dining and 33 bedrooms for overnight guests. The Norman Keep is open to the public. Overlooking the beautiful historic town of Farnham on the Surrey/Hampshire boarder, this iconic Castle offers a totally unique venue experience.

About you:

 Min 10 years marketing experience ideally in high end Wedding/Venue environment
 Previous campaign management exposure
 Experience within an online or digital environment
 Strong business acumen
 Excellent communication skills
 Excellent time management
 Experience of managing brand guidelines
 Supportive / Team player
 Self-motivated and driven (able to work autonomously)
 Proactive/can do attitude in all aspects of marketing
 Strong presentation and copy writing skills
 Ability to interpret financial data and put in place marketing action plans accordingly
 Target driven
 Excellent attention to detail
 Excellent understanding of the Wedding & Events market


 Previous experience in 5 star Wedding Venue
 Degree in Marketing
 Formal Marketing Qualification
