Opportunities at Farnham Castle
Hospitality Manager
An experienced, effective and confident Hospitality Manager is required to start as soon possible.
Main duties are to assist the Events Manager with covering weddings and seasonal events as well as Duty Management during the week. This role requires shift and weekend work and applicants must be willing to work at least one weekend in three, with the possibility of one in two during busy periods. The successful applicant will have experience of managing large events, a high standard of customer care, a professional appearance and manner and strong man-management skills. A qualification in Hospitality Management would be advantageous.

Pastry Chef
Experienced chef wanted with 4-5 years experience, minimum of NVQ 2 in Professional Cookery with an emphasis on Desserts and Pastry. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to innovate, bring fresh ideas to the table and contribute to menu formulation. Responsibilities will include preparing desserts and pastry for weekend events as well as contributing to the regular menu for our conference delegates during the week. Initiative and the ability to work with minimal direction is essential for this busy role.
Hours and salary: 40 per week, straight shifts 5 over 7, with some weekend working (a maximum of 2 in 4 weekends). Salary commensurate on experience.
