Working in and Managing Virtual Teams

Today’s successful managers require the skills to operate in a global marketplace, to understand the cultural implications of their decisions and possess the ability to turn cultural difference to competitive advantage.  Managing and working in a cross-cultural team can be challenging – even more so if the team is spread across continents!  Individuals from particular cultures, for example where building personal precedes the development of business relationships, may not be as comfortable in non face to face situations as their international counterparts.

This one day workshop is designed as an introduction to cultural and diversity awareness. It also provides participants with a better understanding of the issues related to remote team working and to provide tools which can be put into immediate effect, to enhance communication and working relationships within a global team who rarely, if ever, meet face to face.

Format

This programme can be delivered in a 1 or 2 day format for groups of around 10 individuals.

Who should attend?

Any group of international colleagues who operate out of different global locations, who need to operate as a cohesive and effective team.
